wynona bleACH SIGN TWO RECORD DEALS AND ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM

Scratch My Progress alumni Wynona Bleach have announced that they had re-signed to UK label Fierce Panda and newly signed to US Label Propeller Sound.

Scratch My Progress is the Oh Yeah Music Centre’s flagship talent-development initiative, tailored for 4–5 emerging artists from across Northern Ireland each year. Wynona Bleach were selected for the programme in 2014 under their name R51.

They released their debut their debut album “Moonsoake” in 2019/early 2020. In august 2021 ahead of announcing a release date for “Moonsoake”, they signed a record deal with Fierce Panda Records.

They have performed at Other Voices, SXSW, New Colossus Festival and embarked on an 11 date UK tour in October 2024.

The band said of the new US signing, “We have spent the last two years making this happen and we are so unbelievably proud of this moment. Fierce Panda have been incredible friends to us since our debut “Moonsoake” was released with them, and our family just got bigger this year by meeting the wonderful Propeller Sound Recordings team at SXSW (they were at 6 of our 10 shows in Austin!) and its a pinch-me moment for us to have a Nashville based label supporting us kids from wee Belfast.”

“Animal Style” their second album, will be released in May with singles dropping over the next few months.
