What is Attitude is Everything’s State of Access Survey and who is it for?

Attitude is Everything’s 2026 State of Access Survey is a UK-wide research project exploring the experiences of Deaf, disabled and neurodiverse audiences, artists and professionals within live music events, venues and festivals. The survey is open to anyone who identifies as disabled and/or lives with a long-term health condition.

The research aims to better understand:

• Access barriers within live music.

• Additional costs and challenges faced by disabled people.

• Health and wellbeing impacts connected to live events.

• How the industry can improve accessibility and inclusion.

The findings will help build a stronger evidence base to support future improvements across the UK live music sector.
