Events

  • Our entrance is wheelchair accessible and the main venue space, exhibition and café is on the ground floor. The upper floors are accessible via a lift.

    The building is in an area that has cobblestones on the surrounding streets. The footpaths in the area are smooth. There is no parking outside the venue but you can be dropped off outside the main entrance.

    The building and main venue space are accessible via automatic doors, featuring step-free access from the street to ground floor. The main venue and entire ground floor is step free. There is a lift to upper floors where the David McWilliams Room and rehearsal rooms are located. Stairs can also be used to access the upper floors if required. Please ask a member of staff for assistance.

    We also provide accessible toilets on the ground floor ensuring ease and comfort for all our guests.

  • As a community organisation, we host a wide range of events for audiences of all ages. To help visitors quickly understand who each event is suitable for, our live events generally fall into the following age categories:

    18+
    Strictly for those aged 18 and over. A licensed bar will usually be operating at these events.

    Under-18s Welcome (with Parent or Guardian)
    Under-18s may attend when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Alcohol may be available.

    14+
    Suitable for audiences aged 14 and over. Alcohol will not be available at these events.

    Family Friendly
    Events designed for families and younger audiences, including children. All ages are welcome. A bar may be operating, but the event is specifically programmed with families in mind.

    All Ages (Wristband System)
    All ages are welcome. For some events, guests may be asked to show ID on entry, and those aged 18+ will receive a wristband allowing them to purchase alcohol. Under-18s may attend but will not be served alcohol.
