Our last gig of 2017 and a celebration of the festive season with some of our favourite artists playing intimate acoustic sets in the Oh Yeah Cafe area. Think cosy Christmas jumpers, mince pies, mulled wine, fairy lights and comfy seats, with original music, Christmas songs and some favourites for you to sing along with.
We’ve had an amazing 2017: working with Chordblossom, HMNI, Atlantic Sessions, Oh Yeah Centre, Girls Rock School NI, Women’s Work, plus many many others, with more exciting plans for 2018 and beyond!
So come join us for a little Christmas cheer! 🙂
Four pounds door entry – with money going straight to the acts
Owen Lamont is a singer / songwriter from Belfast. He’s amassed a collection of original songs over the years while serving time in various local bands and has recently begun releasing his own material to serious acclaim.
With glorious melodies and wonderful songsmithing, Owen has just released his latest beauty: “Lovely time of year” – a real festive treat!
Teddy Charles Jr
Teddy Charles Jr (Allan McGreevy, Rupture Dogs), released his first EPs to a celebrating NI music scene, garnering critical acclaim with them. Expect more releases upcoming! Always a great showman of complex songwriting with a gorgeous focus on lyricism and melody, Teddy Charles Jr will play a stripped back acoustic set.
A new member of the ‘Bird & Bramble” family, Glasswings (aka Stephen Jones), is new to the NI scene, but his songwriting and voice are so spellbinding, he won’t be unfamiliar for long. We are thrilled to be able to introduce you this new act for NI, with a big future ahead.
Bird&Bramble acoustic set
Never ones to shy away from a mic, we will also be playing an acoustic set of our own originals, plus some christmas classics. We’ve been playing and singing together for years now, under many guises, so we are pretty thrilled to be able to help close our 2017 with you all.
We will also be joined by some special friends and guests of Bird & Bramble throughout the night.
Feel free to turn up dressed like a Christmas tree, or in your onesie… we’ll be pleased to see you either way! 🙂
