Projects and Promotions Assistant
This is a 12 month part time paid position aimed at recent graduates.
The Projects and Promotions Assistant is an exciting new role at Oh Yeah designed to support the growth of Belfast’s dedicated music hub. As the centre grows so too do the commitments of our operational and projects team. This role will would suit an eager, energetic and ambitious graduate keen to develop a career in arts, venue and project management. The role will be a combination of administration, marketing, audience development, volunteer and event management.
The role will assist the operations team in the effective running of a live music venue and creative hub, as well as assisting the outreach and talent development team in the running of some of the key programmes at Oh Yeah, including the Volume Control, Capital XTRA Project, More Volume, Scratch Talent and Arts and Older People Programmes.
The post is offered as part of the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries Programme, aimed specifically at recent graduates whose circumstances mean they would not otherwise be in a position to develop their skills and CV through unpaid work experience.
In order to be eligible applicants MUST
- Have graduated from a BA or equivalent undergraduate course in the UK since summer 2015 (e.g. an NVQ 6)
- Have received a full maintenance grant during the full period of their academic course and be able to verify this with the necessary paperwork.
- Be full-time resident in the UK

Placement Title: Projects and Promotions Assistant.
Designation: Part-Time – 3 days per week.
Duration: Fixed term from 19th February 2018 for one year.
Hours of Work: 10am – 6pm, some evening and weekend work is required and will be agreed in advance.
Salary: Pro Rata FTE £17,095
