Volume Control is recruiting

Volume Control is an award winning youth events and industry enterprise mentoring programme.

The aim of the project is to support young people aged 14-19 in developing, planning, and delivering their own live music events by providing mentoring and a dedicated space, that will give them the opportunity, skills and confidence to realise their full potential.

In the process of doing this they also learn about several other elements of working in the music sector from artist liaison and booking acts, to press and promotion, stage management, sound engineering, ticketing, and more.

The young people involved will meet regularly at the Oh Yeah Music Centre, mostly after school hours, to organise a few gigs a year from scratch. They are accompanied by Oh Yeah Centre and music industry mentors to help them.

If you are interested, or know someone who might be, contact volumecontrol@ohyeahbelfast.com or caoimhe@ohyeahbelfast.com and request an application form. The deadline for applying is February 28 at 5pm.
