Oh Yeah News
Katie & The Carnival Do Scratch

‘Scratch My Music, the monthly performance, discussion, and feedback event aimed at bringing you closer to the creative thoughts of a featured artist, returns on Tuesday 31st January with Katie and the Carnival.
All this is FREE and will be played out against the unique backdrop that is the Oh Yeah Music Exhibition.
Oh Yeah gratefully acknowledges the financial support of The PRS Foundation.
In 2011 Katie Richardson, front woman and driving force behind the Carnival, took the band to new levels of productivity, including a debut release plus a Christmas single, also arranging and recording ‘Bring Me Sunshine’ for a Dale Farm TV advert.
She also made several Radio, TV, and Festival appearances, including a performance on ‘Out of The Blue’ on BBC NI, and an incredible night at the Ulster Hall during Belfast Music Week with Foy Vance.
In 2012 KATC plan to release their debut album, and this unique and interesting session will not only give you the chance to hear some of the new material in an intimate and acoustic setting, but also the opportunity to hear Katie answer questions on their music and achievements from the past year.
